The Startup Runway Foundation is on a mission to provide more first checks to founders of color and women.
After growing frustrations of seeing the lack of founders of color represented in funding competitions, the Foundation was created and established its vision of closing the funding gap faced by underrepresented founders. Now in its seventh year, the organization has helped over 140 founders raise over $55 million and has served over 5,000 startups. Impressive huh?
The program has since expanded into Athens and Savannah in hopes of reaching more underserved founders.

Fun Fact: Startup Runway Finalists are 6X more likely to raise a seed round than underrepresented founders who have not gone through the fundraising-focused nonprofit program.
If that didn’t grab your attention then I’m sure this will. The winner of the final showcase, at the conclusion of the program, will receive a $10K grant…now we’re talking.
The foundation is seeking application for its 20th Startup Showcase on May 4. The showcase will highlight the leading tech founders from across the Southeast as they pitch for non-dilutive capital.
Interested founders, submit your application here! The deadline to apply is April 17.
