Recognizing — and funding — the top women-and minority-led startups across the Southeast
Nationally, 41 percent of tech startups pitching for funding are women or minority-led — and yet only 10% percent of these startups get funded. Startup Runway wants to help close that gap by connecting these founders with sophisticated investors and mentors who understand and want to help early-stage companies.
Startup Runway is now looking for high-velocity, minority or women-led tech startups for its fall event. Finalists will join the ranks of past showcase winners and finalists including caregiver app ReciproCare, blockchain healthcare company Patientory, micro-loan payment startup Qoins, and machine-learning SaaS healthcare platform HealthInfoMap.
In the last 24 months, finalists have raised a total over $15 million (That’s a pretty solid number!)
How to apply
All Startup Runway applications must be completed and submitted through F6S by October 1. Once your application has been submitted, the Startup Runway leadership team will review the information and select a group of founders to pitch at one of three Pre-Flight Pitch Rounds. From there, the top 10 startups will be invited to pitch at the Fall 2018 Showcase on November 7.
The Showcase is open to the general public to meet these game changers — and the investors who fund them — in person. Grab your tickets to the Showcase here!
