About Startup Pirates:
The Startup Pirates program combines hands-on workshops, mentoring and idea development with a clear focus on accelerating the development of early stage entrepreneurs in the idea-phase; deckhands with developed products should seek more advanced seas! In the end the teams will have the opportunity to pitch to successful business leaders and receive prizes that enable them to continue to work on their idea. 35 curious, motivated, and passionate pirates will be selected for the program, so fill out the application and tell them why you’d make an extraordinary addition to the Startup crew!
Who can apply:
- People from any background and expertise who are seeking education in entrepreneurship and are willing to join a team to help develop a business idea.
- People with a potential business idea that are looking for validation and a team to work with. Be ready to pitch to your landlubber-y peers!
- People with a startup at a very early stage of development (with no product developed) that need a kickstart.
Why you should apply:
- Workshops: Attend 7 high quality workshops on what we call the “Pirate Survival Toolbox”: service design, team management, business model canvas, product development, pitching, marketing and finance.
- Mentoring: Meet experienced entrepreneurs and innovators who will join us just for the sake of supporting you and ask the difficult questions.
- Networking: Create connections with around 30 guests (speakers and mentors) and 34 more pirates with the same flame and as adventurous as you are.
