About your speakers:
Amber Bennett is a business consultant for the University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center. UGA Small Business Development Center is a public service outreach to help grow Georgia’s businesses by offering one-on-one consulting, industry research, and continuing education for small business owners. Previously, Amber has worked in business management for the non-profit and small business industries. Most recently, Amber has owned an accounting consulting company before joining the SBDC’s staff.

Greg Hayes, CPA, is a partner in the accounting firm of Moore Stephens Tiller LLC. He is a specialist in accounting, tax, and business advisory services. In his role as business advisor, Greg consults with clients on a number of strategic matters, including structuring, acquisition of financing, benchmarking, productivity, and strategic tax planning. Greg’s practice specialty is privately owned companies, ranging from start-ups to over $200 million in revenue.

Michael Horten is a US and European educated lawyer with over 40 years’ experience as a practicing attorney. In addition to his extensive legal work on early-stage financings, representing both investors and companies seeking capital, Michael has been an active angel investor for the last 20 years and is a member of the Angel Capital Association and several Angel groups.
