“As Seen on TV” is coming to Shark Attack

Here if your chance, The Ritz Group’s event Shark Attack is back for a new year, and they are pulling out all the stops to get your product noticed. For October, they are bringing in celebrity guest and original Shark Tank Shark, Kevin Harrington. Some of his credentials include former CEO of Home Shopping Network, father of the infomercial, and founder of “As Seen On TV.” He is looking for ideas and products that he can help create and promote on the Home Shopping Network.

The group is looking for about 50 applicants and want to showcase about 20 at their Oct. 9 event. Any stage company can apply. Applicants should prepare a two-minute spoken pitch for the Virtual Pitch Tank (and prequalifier) by answering these questions:

  • What is the problem you are solving?
  • What is your solution?
  • What is the size of the market?
  • Why are you the person to solve it (you and your management team)?
  • What are you looking for (money, business guidance, operations team, etc.)?

Applicants should send your stuff to (bdaneker@ritzgroup.org, bbdaneker@writeadvisors.com) to schedule a Virtual Pitch (times located below). They will be sent dial-in information to be on the call, as well as the pitch order. Responses will be real time and follow up with them on next steps.

9/24 – Virtual Pitch Tank, 4 pm
10/1 – Virtual Pitch Tank, 11 am and 4 pm
10/8 – Virtual Pitch Tank, 4 pm
