School’s in Session: Applications Are Open for Square One Startup School

Atlanta-based marketing agency, Surthrive, has opened applications for its Square One Startup School.

Square One is the first accelerated-incubator fee-based training program to offer a learning environment for “too-early-stage” tech startup founders. The program is designed to help pre-product and pre-revenue founders validate and transform their startup ideas into profitable businesses by providing direct access to community, curricula, and coaching.

What makes Square One unique is that founders can learn at their own pace and on their own time. Founders can also curate their own curriculum by hand-selecting the classes they need the most. The goal of the 10-week hybrid program is to help participants validate their business model and grow through profitability. Participants will also have direct access to key influencers in the startup ecosystem. Square One does not take equity in participating startups.

Adjusting to the new norm and to make accessing resources as seamless as possible for startup founders, Surthrive has moved its programming completely online.

The Proof is in the….track record

In its first year, 16 startup founders graduated from the program and collectively raised $110K in funding. Pretty impressive.

In addition, Square One has curated a group of all-star coaches, advisors, and mentors, with proven track records helping tech founders. It trains the next generation of profitable technology startup founders. Notable names include Backstage Capital founder and managing partner Arlan Hamilton, Seed&Spark CEO Emily Best, and Boomtown Accelerators co-founder and portfolio manager Jose Vieitez.
