New products, better products. Process improvement, less waste. More smiles, fewer tears. More connections, greater reach. This is what creating is all about.
Artists, innovators, musicians, scientists, and technologists will have a chance this Spring to show off their creations in pursuit of access to over $300,000 in crowdfunding plus millions in potential capital investments. One Spark, The World’s Crowdfunding Festival, takes place April 9-13, 2014, in downtown Jacksonville, FL. “Creators” will get the chance to pitch to crowds of 150,000+ “voters” and potential investors, get feedback on their concepts, and make valuable connections that can help them achieve their goals. Oh, and there’s also a great speaker lineup. Atlanta’s own Doc Waller (@docwaller) will emcee the two-day event.
Last year, 10 out of the 406 One Spark projects were from Georgia-based Creators. Monsieur, the artificially intelligent robotic bartender, was one of those projects. Monsieur’s presence at One Spark 2013 helped the company promote its very successful Kickstarter following the event. Do you know how many Georgia projects are registered so far for this year’s festival? Three. What are you Creators waiting for?! The Atlanta startup scene is booming with great ideas, raw talent, and passionate people. Register for One Spark as a Creator and let your ideas start marinating. Hurry! Registration ends January 31, 2014.
