The Center for Civic Innovation (CCI) in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank has launched a public challenge to inspire innovative services, projects, technologies or programs that improve the availability and demand of healthy, affordable foods in neighborhoods. Challenge winners will spend 6 months in an intensive residency program with one-on-one mentoring, group workshops with experts in the area of food access, business, policy and entrepreneurship, and access to capital. This program is aimed at fostering collaboration among entrepreneurs/innovators and existing service delivery organizations, while also strengthening the viability of new ideas seeking to address the issue of food access.
