Community Leaders Join Forces to Host Virtual ATL Tech COVID-19 Innovation Showcase

The economic impact of the pandemic has severely impacted communities, businesses and families globally but when we assess the problems on a local level, Metro Atlanta is one of the hardest hit cities. Local entrepreneurs and startups have rapidly created solutions to address problems emerging from the pandemic and now it’s time to shine a light on these brilliant minds.

Local business leaders from Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), Morris, Manning & Martin (MMM), Carabiner Communications and Gatherly have joined forces to host the ATL Tech COVID-19 Innovation Showcase, September 24.  The showcase is a free-to-attend and free-to-participate highly interactive trade show that will call attention to the technology solutions of Atlanta’s best and brightest entrepreneurs, engineers and scientists working to solve problems arising from the global COVID-19 pandemic.

This virtual event will allow companies to not only showcase their hard work but to meet with their peers, attract investment opportunities, network with thought leaders and discuss potential collaboration efforts across industry segments.

The showcase will take place completely online via Gatherly, a platform designed for online trade shows and other virtual gatherings that is part of the CREATE-X initiative at Georgia Tech.  The unique platform will provide participants and exhibitors with the highest possible level of interaction without the expense or logistical concerns of a face-to-face event.
