They’ve Built It, You Gotta Come | BuiltxWomen Inaugural Pitch Day

BuiltxWomen is a technical program by women, for women.

Statistically speaking, women of color receive 0 percent of venture capital funding. There isn’t just one reason this number has yet to increase — there’s plenty. But BuiltxWomen is doing something about it. Based out of Atlanta’s TechSquare Labs, BuiltxWomen aims to increase the number of female founders, especially those of color, who launch businesses that solve tough problems by providing them the tools they need to build scalable, solution-focused tech companies.

Check out these #ladybosses at the BuiltxWomen Pitch Day, presented by THEA, Atlanta’s premium video network, January 9th! This cohort has created products built to solve problems in education, wellness, water quality, finance, customer success and human resources. BOOM!

Come celebrate the phenomenal work of the BuiltxWomen inaugural cohort — see you January 9th.

About BuiltxWomen

Every technology startup requires someone who can build and someone who knows how to go-to-market. The goal of #BuiltxWomen is to match up female founders of color based on their strengths and interests so they can build companies they’re dedicated to grow. Accepted applicants will be awarded with a six-month part-time co-working scholarship to TechSquare Labs and be matched with their respective peers based on their strengths, weaknesses and problems they want to work on. Learn how you can be a part of Cohort 2.
