Serial Entrepreneur Bill Nussey Speaks On History’s Next Big Business At MIT Enterprise Forum

Join the MIT Enterprise Forum for networking, lunch, and an intimate conversation with Bill Nussey, the CEO and co-founder of Solar Inventions, a winner of the Department of Energy’s American-Made Solar Prize and the founder of the Freeing Energy Project. Nussey will share his insights and discuss why he believes clean energy presents one of the biggest business opportunities in history. He will also discuss his successes, his failures, and some of the lessons he learned along the way as both an entrepreneur and as a CEO of venture-capital-backed technology companies.

The fireside chat will be led by Nelson Chu, Managing Director at Kinetic Ventures.

Nussey has had a distinguished career in the technology industry. He started his first company when he was in high school and his second from his college dorm room. Nussey later worked as a venture capitalist and then as CEO of an e-business consulting firm before becoming CEO of Silverpop. In addition to running Solar Inventions, Nussey now serves as an advisor to startups based at Georgia Tech’s Advanced Technology Development Center as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence.
