After seeing great success and graduating its inaugural class of eight pre-product and pre-revenue founders this past Spring, Surthrive has officially announced its second cohort of the Square One Startup School.
The Square One Startup School was launched to help founders validate and transform their startup ideas into profitable businesses by providing direct access to community, curricula and coaching. The first cohort of eight participants collectively raised $7,500 in equity-free funding and brought in $25k in revenue.
What makes Square One unique is that founders can learn at their own pace and on their own time by having the option to participate virtually. Founders can also curate their own curriculum by hand-selecting the classes they need the most. The goal of the 10-week virtual program is to help participants validate their business model and grow through profitability. Participants will also have direct access to key influencers in the startup ecosystem. Square One does not take equity in participating startups.
Square One has also curated an amazing group of accelerator directors, angel investors, venture capitalists, designers, developers, marketers, and venture-backed & bootstrapped startup founders to join the Square One team. Exciting new additions include Arlan Hamilton, Founder and Managing Partner of Backstage Capital, Emily Best, Founder and CEO of Seed&Spark, Ally Keller, Product Designer at Twitter, and more.
