A3C Brings the Search for the Best of Music Tech to Atlanta With a Pitch Day

Showcasing the startups making beats

Atlanta is successfully building a strong and rapidly-growing tech sector. A3C Festival & Conference, the largest gathering for the music and hip-hop communities, recognized the city’s potential and has made a commitment to build a music tech community.

Why hip-hop? This genre is often the most important and influential for music tech startups — hip-hop artists are early adopters and frequently the most active and engaged community on social and music platforms.

In conjunction with A3C Conference’s Music Tech track, their Startup Spotlight will select five of the world’s hottest music tech startups to present to a panel of music industry veterans, hip-hop icons, and a crowd of music enthusiasts. Applications are open for the Spotlight, to be held October 5.

Bringing it home with a Pitch Day

Now, A3C is bringing their commitment home to Atlanta with a Startup Spotlight Pitch Day — with the prize being a spot in the big event in October. Atlanta-based music tech startups are invited to apply to pitch to the A3C music tech programming committee on August 14. The winner will not only get a spot in the Startup Showcase, but the chance to participate in a multi-day experience connecting them with Atlanta’s tech community, music industry, artists and producers.

Applications for the pitch day are open until August 1st at 10:00pm EST.
