Venture Atlanta Live Online Selects Presenting Companies For 2020

Venture Atlanta, the largest venture investor conference in the Southeast, is moving online and expanding its national reach.

Today Venture Atlanta announced their list of 103 companies selected to present during the conference, set to take place virtually on October 21-22.

Now in its 13th year, Venture Atlanta sees the virtual format as an engaging way to connect startup capital with promising founders.

“Venture Atlanta Live Online is nothing at all like a Zoom video conference or webinar—we’re offering a truly exciting, completely virtual experience that mirrors and even improves upon the benefits of live conferences,” said CEO Allyson Eman in a statement. “As our list of spotlight companies shows, we’ve drawn top talent from some of the hottest pockets of tech innovation in our region.”

As an added benefit, Eman added, investors can do a “year’s worth of work in just two days.”

This year, Venture Atlanta received over 400 applications, a record for the conference. It also has doubled the number of companies presenting from outside of Georgia, showcasing the conference’s, and the Southeast region’s, growth.

A full list of venture and early-stage presenting companies, along with those who will be part of the conference’s showcase, can be found here. A few notable Metro Atlanta companies include CallRail, Gravy and Bitcoin Depot.

Additionally, Birmingham-based event networking company Mixtroz will present after winning Launchpad2X’s pitch competition earlier this year.

Keynote speakers for the live event include Arianna Huffington, CTO of HubSpot Dharmesh Shah, and Dawn Dickson-Akpoghene of Flat Out Heels and PopCom, and Atlanta startup giant David Cummings.

To date, Venture Atlanta has led to $4.5 billion in funding raised and nearly $15 billion exits.
