Top Opp Rundown: Third Startup Runway Offers $10K for Woman or Minority Led Startups

The first and largest pitch series for women- and minority- led tech entrepreneurs has returned for a third round

Startup Runway is on a mission to connect the top minority-led startups with quality professional investors. The non-profit foundation has announced its third competition for a $10,000 grant awarded at the public showcase event this November 2.

Past Finalists include startups like blockchain healthcare company Patientory, which just raised $7.2 million in ICO; fintech micro-loan payment startup Qoins; and HealthInfoMap, a machine-learning SaaS healthcare platform from Raleigh, NC.

Startup Runway Foundation is a community-led organization. Its diverse volunteer advisory board works with local community sponsors that provide tax-deductible donations to support the $10,000 grant. 2017 pitch sponsors include The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club; national tech recruiter Spencer Stuart; and digital marketing agency Write2Market. New sponsors include project management firm MHR Internationa and Myra McElhaney, an internationally acclaimed speaker and author.
