Vintage Computer Fest is This Weekend

Join computer and tech enthusiasts this weekend at the third annual Vintage Computer Festival Southeast. This event will showcase over 35,000 square feet of exhibits, museums, presentations, and interactive entertainment. Bring your kiddos and show them the tools that made you first fall in love with technology.

Top collectors from all over the US will display rare and historic computers, devices and consoles. Exhibitors are even available for live demonstrations, offering attendees an opportunity like no other. This year the Festival celebrates the PDP-8, which turns 50 years old, the Altair 8800 which turns 40, and the Amiga 1000 which turns 30. Examples of these vintage machines will be on display, with passionate collectors eager to explain the stories behind them.

Attendees are also welcome to explore the concurrent Computer Museum of America Apple Pop-Up exhibit, a large, one-of-a-kind display of extremely rare Apple computers. The exhibit includes a rare and exclusive collection of Apple personal computers and consumer electronic products, from the original Apple 1 era to the present.
