Do you fancy yourself a sports aficionado? Well here’s your opportunity to stake your claim.
Theodore Todorow, an Atlantan & the cofounder of IMATH, has created an algorithm that lets you pit your predictions versus a computer. It’s simple. The more accurate you are the more points you will accrue. It’s like playing against Watson (but for sports not Jeopardy). Compare your score against others trying to beat the computer and see if you can rank near the top.
As the algorithmic developer at the largest sports book in Las Vegas, Cantor Gaming, Theodore was involved in all aspects of sport mathematics, mainly developing pricing models for live betting during games. Before that he was a mathematician for WMS and the senior mathematician for Konami, where he was involved in all slot machine mathematics, particularly player profiling and determining most effective math models.
Sunday marked the end of football season and before we know it golf, baseball, soccer, and tennis will be in full swing. Check out IMATH, and before you sit down to watch your next favorite game, log in & PLAY.
