Real Estate Startup Ten Eight Acquired by RealNex

by Raven Davis

Local real estate startup Ten Eight has been acquired by RealNex, a real estate technology solution company located in Houston. Ten Eight’s technology utilizes an online portal that allows all parties of real estate transactions to share and communicate information via web or through a handy app. Started in 2012 by Patrick Braswell, Ten Eight eliminates the need for paperwork and stores all information on the cloud, allowing users access to it at any time. Currently, the company has more than 2,500 users and is managing 3,700 transactions.

The Scoop:

  • Ten Eight is just the latest company to join RealNex, a list which also includes several real estate data and tracking firms, such as REA and Property Line.
  • Startup Riot 2013 winner
  • Has raised $500,000 in funding
  • Though the startup is relatively young, Ten Eight brings with it over ten years of brokerage experience.
  • Ten Eight has no plans to relocate from Atlanta and is projected to help RealNex expand in several cities across the nation, including Las Vegas, Houston, and San Diego.
