There are many Atlanta based startups with big ideas that are in the process of fundraising to make their dreams come to life. This week we’re highlighting five different crowd funding projects that are currently running on either Kickstarter or Indiegogo. Be sure and check out each of them and consider contributing to these awesome ideas.
CLEARsmile
Do you hate the messy process of brushing your teeth? CLEARsmile is an oral hygiene device created to replace the old fashion toothbrush, dental floss, and mouth wash regimen. It is completely hands free and uses a gentle “pressure washing” with a cleaning solution that pulses for roughly three minutes to get your teeth and gums squeaky clean!
Dr. Igor Reizenson and his team have a goal to raise $16,500 on their Kickstarter campaign by October 10th!
TalkON
We all know that sinking feeling that hits your stomach when you check your phone, only to see that your battery level is in the red. Enter TalkON (@TalkOnCharger), a smartphone USB charger that fits on your key ring! It is roughly the size of a car key fob and gives you one to two hours of extra talk-time!
Founder Philip Jones has set out to raise $35,000 on their Kickstarter campaign by Sep 29
IR-LOCK
IR-LOCK is an infrared target tracking device for drones and other robotics. It works in both bright sunlight and complete darkness and even has a detection range of over fifty feet! You can customize this product to meet your personal needs.

The Golf Ball Seeker
Golfers, tired of losing your brand new balls to the fish? The Golfball Seeker is here to save the day… and then some! These seekers have been known to retrieve upwards of ten golfballs at a time! All you have to do is toss it into the water and drag it back to shore.
Georgia Tech student and golfer Vincent Whaley is hoping to raise $1000 by September 20th to fund this brilliant project! Visit his Kickstarter page and help him reach this goal!
NEBI.MOBI
Do you cringe each month when you receive your cellphone bill in the mail? Me too, and so did the founders of NEBI.MOBI. That’s their inspiration for launching this awesome new service. NEBI.MOBI supports talk, text, and data. One of their goals with this funding include increasing advocacy for nation wide free public wifi! Until then, their wireless plans are still sure to save you a pretty penny.
Founder Nebi Cem Erdogan and his wife, Eve Erdogan, have set a goal to raise $50,000 by September 21. Visit their page on INDIEGOGO for more information!
