Have you ever downloaded an app with high expectations, only to be majorly let down? You deleted it because, while it may have been somewhat functional, it was miserably gray, hard to navigate, and so pixellated that it looked straight out of the nineties. It’s far from a pleasant experience. That’s where Everyday Industries, a husband and wife team, comes into play. They have created a digital product design studio that aims to create mobile and web experiences that are valuable and enjoyable to use.

How does ATL weave into your story?
Although Everyday Industries was founded in New York, we are both Southerners and after our son was born in 2012 we felt the calling to return home. Atlanta offers the best of the South: we love the warmth, hospitality, opportunity, and openness to change. While a majority of our clients are startups in New York and the Research Triangle Area, we look forward to the opportunities that Atlanta’s growing tech scene offers.
What services do you offer?
Product Strategy, Service Design, User Experience Design, Visual Design, Branding

In what ways does your creative agency cater to startups?
We are a small design studio with years of experience working with successful startups and established companies across the country, including Gilt, NFL, ESPN, Zola, and 1stdibs. As a small studio, we are able to place great emphasis on being collaborative and iterative in our design process. We work closely with each client to create a design that balances the needs of the business with the needs of the people who use their product. Strategies and details can change quickly, which is why our background in fine art and architecture combined with the technical skills of human-computer interaction and electrical engineering are so valuable to startups.
