4/11: Free Coding Class Series Kicks Off

The Iron Yard’s Kids Academy Announces A Free Class That Kicks Off June 11th

They are offering up only 8 free spots for a Coding Fundamentals for Girls course for girls ages 8-12, which begins Wednesday June 11th.

Please look over the details, dates and requirements (including age requirements: ages 8-12 only) to make sure your child is able to attend all dates and stay for the entire hour of class before signing up. This course will be 4 short weeks, one hour/day per week, so attendance and participation is essential.

The students will go through the process of becoming acquainted with Scratch, a browser based programming platform, and go through a series of projects to expand on coding fundamentals. For this course, we’re accepting beginners to intermediate students in Scratch.
