Hardware Drive for Kids Academy

 The Iron Yard is gearing up a hardware drive for their first free Kids Academy classes

Email them at atlanta@theironyard.com if you’d like to donate once the drive is over or have any additional questions.

Kids Academy is a free course that teaches kids (ages 7-12) how to use Scratch, a programming interface where kids can create interactive stories, games, and animations that promote creativity and problem solving. There are 15 spots available.

Apply: 

  • May 22 – June 12
  • 3423 Piedmont Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30305 (inside Atlanta Tech Village, in our first floor classroom)
  • Look over the details on the dates and requirements to make sure your child is able to attend all dates, complete homework for each week, and stay for the entire hour of class before signing up
  • Parents are required to remain on-site during the hour of class
  • Each child must have a laptop w/ charger
