Dev Edu in East Point | Serving All Ages & Veterans

East Point Tech: Digital Lifestyle & Literacy Center was born to provide a “safe place to geek” for kids, teens, and adults alike. As a community digital learning center, it provides a tech learning and entrepreneurship hub in a comfortable, empowering environment. With red brick and a funky movie-inspired mural dominating the walls, East Point Tech doesn’t look like other technology learning centers – and that’s the point. Just a half block from the East Point MARTA station, and close to all major highways with ample free parking, East Point Tech might be your new favorite place to learn, meet, and collaborate.

Executive Director – Dr. Lisa Richardson,  the lead small business digital strategist and front-end developer of Flow Interactive.

Location – Downtown East Point, GA (1596 West Cleveland Avenue, Suite 102)

Parking – Free parking is plentiful around the Center. You may safely park for the day:  on West Cleveland right in front of the Center or neighboring shops – but NOT on the other side of the street, across the street in the gravel-paved municipal lot with the PARKING painted on the wall, in the large municipal lot behind the fire station one block west.

Classes Offered – Intro to Web Development (HTML/CSS), Front End Development (JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Less, Sass), PHP, Ruby on Rails, Mobile App Development, Small Biz Tech, WordPress workshops
