Today’s story: Lafayette Julius of Evolve Sports in Atlanta
When I founded my startup in 2017, I knew there would be twists and turns to build it, and to keep it going.
This pandemic I could not see coming. We are living in an era where we are forced to Evolve as humans.
Our platform, Evolve Sports, is digital, so working with developers remains remote and [with] constant video conferences.
My partners decided we needed to scale back resources to make the runway stretch, to which I agreed.
Things have really helped us focus on what is important for this quarter and the year, especially since sports have been postponed.
This is a scary and interesting time as a founder who is building something to change the next generation. These moments of uncertainty can either make or break you as a brand.
Our team has chosen to Evolve.
Over the next few weeks, we will be focusing on universal therapy, with content geared towards our users’ self-care and awareness while being at home during these times.
I believe now is the time for leaders to stand up and help those in need to keep the world moving forward.
