????️ About This Event: Transitioning to a Career in Code

A career in tech as a developer is rich with opportunity and can be personally and financially rewarding. Join Women Who Code and our Partner Criteo to learn how to transition to tech in 2023. Alejandra Paredes, Software Engineer, will share her journey of transitioning to a career as a developer.

Join this session for a discussion on the stereotypes related to Software Engineers, actionable insight from Alejandra on navigating the professional training required to become a developer, and how to conquer any internal doubt preventing you from pursuing a career change.

After this session, you will see that a career in code can be for everyone — you don’t need to be passionate about code to code and be successful.

Why you should attend:

  • Connect and network with other members of the WWCode community and hear first-hand how to make your coding career a reality from our Partner Criteo
  • Hear about opportunities to work with Criteo
  • Gain the confidence to change careers in 2023 and learn how a career in code could be for you!

About the speaker:
Alejandra is a Software Developer at Criteo. She works on the unification of information to help other teams to be more efficient in search. She changed her career path five years ago from marketing to programming. She is committed to keeping in touch with her emotions while developing her professional self. While coding, Alejandra loves to knit as it helps her to debug faster.

We look forward to seeing you there!
