WWC: Git or Treat Hacktoberfest Code Jam

October 30, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software. Maintainers are invited to guide would-be contributors towards issues that will help move the project forward, and contributors get the opportunity to give back to both projects they like, and ones they’ve just discovered. No contribution is too small—bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating. Participants submit 5 pull requests to Github-hosted repositories.

Join us for our final Hacktoberfest event on October 30th at General Assembly. Work on the last of your PRs and enjoy some pizza, candy, and a special prize for one lucky person!

Not working on Hacktoberfest PRs? No worries. Come anyway and work on anything you want!

**This event is intended for anyone who identifies as female and is queer, trans and nonbinary friendly. Men are also welcome to attend. All attendees must follow the Code of Conduct (https://github.com/WomenWhoCode/guidelines-resources/blob/master/code_of_conduct.md)
