About the Hosts:
Conscious Company Magazine is establishing itself as the voice of new business as usual. CCM is a print and digital publication about innovative, sustainable businesses that are doing well by doing good. It is currently distributed nationally through Whole Foods Market, Barnes and Noble, Sprouts and many more.
Thrive Consulting Group utilizes cognitive science, marketing communication and a business framework called conscious capitalism to work with businesses on their operations and future planning. Thrive believes business should serve a higher purpose than simply profit. Sum+Substance is the next step in our efforts to change the narrative of business in America.
The Center for Civic Innovation is proudly hosting Sum+Substance. CCI serves as a home for conversations, experimentation and action around social challenges and opportunities in cities – and we are starting in our hometown of Atlanta. CCI creates networks of social entrepreneurs around key issue areas, runs a program called Civic Labs that helps connect public organizations and local innovators, and helps local agencies, nonprofits, and businesses better connect to their communities through unique capacity building programs.
