Aisha Thompkins, M.S. has over fourteen (14) years of combined HR experience in both Public and Private Sectors. Her areas of expertise are EEO law, employment best practices, conflict resolution, leadership development, and organizational leadership. Originally from Miami, Florida; Mrs. Thompkins now lives in Atlanta, Georgia and serves as an effective and proficient Director of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Services where she seeks to provide her clients with best practices to minimize potential liability and risks associated with employment decisions and overall functionality. Mrs. Thompkins’ extensive EEO background includes conducting in-depth investigations and crafting investigative reports that are often used by in-house counsel, as they prepare for litigation. Mrs. Thompkins has also submitted numerous position statements, on behalf of employers, to the EEOC, OCR, and DOL, in response to employees’ allegations of discrimination and/or harassment. Mrs. Thompkins has also represented companies in mediations and conciliation proceedings and assisted businesses in drafting separation/settlement agreements with employees. Aisha Thompkins holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from Florida State University, and a Professional Certification in Management Development from Nova Southeastern University. She is also a Certified Life Coach. Currently, Aisha works full time as the Director of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Services with Insperity – a professional employer organization. Her responsibilities include managing a team of EEO Investigators/Consultants.
