CCI Social Studies Webinar

September 4 @ 12:00 pm

How much power do neighborhoods have in decision making? And how much should they have? For this month’s Social Studies Webinar, we will explore what role neighborhood residents have in decision making in Atlanta. We will be talking about the history of neighborhood-level decision-making in Atlanta and what it is today. We will also highlight ways individuals can engage with their local neighborhood groups. Then, we’ll speak with neighborhood advocates that have unique perspectives on the importance of local decision-makers in the city of Atlanta, and what successes they’ve had and challenges they’ve faced in their roles as neighborhood leaders and civically-engaged residents in our city.

Join us on Friday, September 4th at 12:00 pm as we host Social Studies: Neighborhood Power in Atlanta.
