The ATL Unlocked Tour allows all to discover and experience centers across metro Atlanta’s innovation ecosystem. Through individually produced events, each “stop” showcases the distinct offerings and community the center has to offer — building familiarity and mutual trust along the way. As each center is unlocked, so too is Atlanta’s potential as a region to be the most inclusive global innovation hub where innovators, creators and founders can thrive.
The Hatchery, Emory Center for Innovation, supports student innovators and entrepreneurs from all Emory schools, and covers all stages of innovation from inspiration and learning to projects and startups. They do this through an Incubator Program, a Skills-Builder Program, and a 15,000 sq. ft. innovation space. They will be showcasing their space as well as a number of the student ventures they have supported.
The Roberto C. Goizueta Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) at Emory’s Goizueta Business School fosters entrepreneurship and innovation born of critical inquiry, developed to serve fundamental societal needs, executed according to sound business principles, and conceptualized in ways that open possibilities and spark imagination. They will be showcasing the work of their student led programs and their student venture work.
Both The Hatchery and CEI partner with business leaders and non-profit leaders, investors, and government agencies to equip students with the skills, connections, and opportunities they need in order to pursue their innovation work.
The Hatchery will be hosting Atlanta Unlocked on 9/12 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
