AITP – 5G and WiFi 6 (Virtual)

May 21, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

AITP Atlanta is excited to have Tom Taylor return as our discussion leader for our first ever Virtual Chapter Meeting. Tom is back to share his knowledge on 5G and WiFi 6 to dispel the myths of the technology and what it means for modern day society.

The sixth generation of WiFi, also known as 802.11ax or WiFi6, provides more speed, lower latency, and increased device density. The fifth generation of wireless, or 5G, is the latest cellular technology, engineered to increase the speed and capacity of wireless networks. Both WiFi 6 and 5G bring the promise of higher capacity, lower latency, and increased efficiency in both the consumer and enterprise markets.

Tom Taylor has worked on a wide range of business and technology systems from early IBM advanced office products to airborne military antenna systems to autonomous vehicles. Previously, Tom worked at the Wheego Automotive Company to assist in building advanced electric vehicle technologies for the Global Market and to build an Internet of Things (IoT) business focused around the connected car.
Join us online on Thursday, May 21st for an enthralling chat from the trenches on this riveting topic!
